Mac OS 10.7 (Lion) Drivers

1. Evaluation result of currently released Mac OS X 10.6 PPD with released Mac OS X 10.7 final version

As a result of our evaluation, no limitation has been found on printing via Mac OS X 10.7 final version using currently released Mac OS X 10.6 PPD.

New drivers are likely to be released in October so please visit the Apple website to use Software Update and check back here for updates.

2. Information for "Scan-to-SMB" and "Fax Folder Transmission (SMB only) & Fax Forwarding (SMB only)" support

Due to architectural changes in Mac OS X 10.7, both "Scan-to-SMB (Scan to Folder via SMB command)" and "Fax Folder Transmission (SMB only) & Fax Forwarding (SMB only)" can't be used.

We expect a resolution to this problem in November so please continue to revisit the website for updates.

As a temporary solution please use Scan-to-FTP (Scan to Folder via FTP command).When using Scan-to-FTP, please activate FTP on Mac OS X 10.7 and follow the settings announced on this website:
